equipment - removing bottlenecks
Due to an increase in demand we recently added more
capacity to our CD-R and DVD-R production. We have
invested in a second UV lacquering machine, and
yet another high speed inkjet printer.
Why, and what does this mean?
An internal study on our workflow identified two
potential areas where bottlenecks in our production
system could occur, both concerning the printing
process. Buying in an extra printer and UV lacquering
machine has meant that we have dramatically reduced
our overall production timescales by about 30%.
