capacity ... new and faster equipment
Over the year we have seen a trend where clients
are placing smaller, yet more frequent orders, requiring
a quicker turn-around than pressing will allow.
As a consequence, we have invested in the latest
high-speed technology available to increase our
in-house duplication and printing capacity to cope
with the higher number of discs - purchasing 2 CopyDisc
OptiPrinter Platinum automated printers, and a CopyDisc
8 Platinum automated CD/DVD duplicator.
Adding just two new print systems to our existing
5 automated printers has doubled our daily output
due to the very high speeds of the OptiPrinters.
Although printing a disc takes just over a minute,
the quality of the finish is exceptional, with accurate
image positioning and vibrant colours.
Whilst printing is usually the bottleneck, the new
Copydisc automated CD/DVD duplicator has given us
the ability to copy both +R and -R DVD discs on
the same system, and duplicate the new dual-layer
DVDs, so overcoming the 4.7GB limit of the standard
DVD recordable discs.
