Digipak®

A Digipak is a bespoke packaging solution. A plastic tray that holds the disc, known as a flexi-tray, is glued to a preprinted and finished board.

They can be designed to meet various requirements and hold any number of discs, with the most common type of Digipak being a four printed page (4pp) version holding a single disc.

When products consist of multiple discs a slip case is often used to complete the whole "look" of the finished article.

Digipaks are widely used in the retail market, particularly for limited edition gift sets, such as long running television series.

Not the cheapest packaging solution available, but definitely one of the most attractive and versatile.
