Comb Bound
This binding technique is most suited for booklets and manuals required in smaller print runs.
What is it?
Plastic comb binding is a flat plastic "comb" that hooks through square or rectangular punched holes in the leaves.
Why Comb Bound?
The main advantages of comb binding are that they can be used for manuals up to 2" thick, and when opened, the book lays flat. This makes it an ideal choice for reference manuals.
Although suitable for thicker manuals, lighter weight pages can "pinch" during use. |
